Alyson McDonald, daughter of attorney and Mrs. William McDonald of New Ringgold; became the bride of Michael Fritzges of Philadelphia at the Pomme in Radnor on July 19, 2014.

The bride chose her sister, Ashley Hage, as the maid of honor; while the bridegroom selected Cory Merkel as the best man.Following the ceremony, the newlyweds welcomed family and friends to a reception at the Pomme. They then honeymooned in St. Lucia.The new Mrs. Fritzges is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ficarino of Tamaqua. She is a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School; St. Joseph's University; and Widner School of Law. She is currently employed as an attorney at Friedman, Schuman Law Office in Jenkintown.Mr. Fritzges is the son of Brian Fritzges of Bowmanstown and Jane Dasti of Allentown. He is a graduate of Whitehall High School; Lafayette College; and the University of Massachusetts. He is employed as a project engineer at Langan Engineering and Environmental Services.The couple resides in Philadelphia.
