Campaign finances updated

Campaign finance totals have been updated in the race for the 122nd district seat in the state House of Representatives.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of State website, the committees for incumbent Republican Doyle Heffley and Democratic challenger Patti Borger have both filed the most recent finance reports, which were due Oct. 24.The Committee to Elect Doyle Heffley reported $79,807.51 in expenditures and $47,039.91 of in-kind contributions received so far in 2014.The Friends of Patti Borger reported $67,800.16 in expenditures and $44,959.03 of in-kind contributions in 2014.For the most recent reporting period, which lasted from June 10 to October 20, Borger's committee reported $64,024.71 in expenditures and $43,071.85 of in-kind contributions.Heffley's committee reported $66,396.87 in expenditures and $42,312.52 of in-kind contributions for the same period.The cash balance for Borger's committee at the end of the most recent cycle was reported as $18,865.84, while Heffley's committee reported $28,557.55 remaining.Election Day is Tuesday.
