A Monroe County man was cited following an incident that occurred at 11:59 p.m. on Monday.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to the area of 151 Crow Path, in Tobyhanna, for a reported domestic incident. On scene officers spoke with a resident of the area who said her boyfriend, identified as Edward Masgula, 47, of Tobyhanna, was intoxicated and destroying her house.Masgula, who was cited for public drunkenness earlier in the day, fled into nearby woods when police arrived. He was later located and arrested. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville. He was charged with another count of public drunkenness.
