Anticipating Memorial Day services is Kaitlyn Serfass, Miss Poppy 2014-2015 of Lehighton American Legion Auxiliary 314, center,selling the first poppy of 2014 to Lehighton Mayor Tom Mase, right. LaRue Fritz, left, is Poppy chairman of Unit 314 and Four County Council and second vice president of Unit 314. Serfass is home-schooled. She takes part in track and enjoys baseball and archery. She is a member of Salem Bible Fellowship Church. Serfass will be attending Memorial Day services in Lehighton and will take partin the Lehighton Memorial Day parade. Debbie DeCindio of New Ringgold is Unit 314 president.
