The engagement of Alison Jeanette Figler to Chad Justin Wasilkowski has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Christopher and Robin Figler of Stewartsville, N.J.

She is a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and attended Warren Community College and Marywood University.

She will continue her studies in physical therapy and is currently a physical therapy aide at Mackarey and Mackarey P.T. Consultants LLC in Scranton.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Charles and Janice Wasilkowski of Walnutport.

He is a graduate of Northern Lehigh High School and Northampton Community College where he received an associate degree in applied science in architecture.

He will graduate this May from Marywood University with a bachelor's degree in architecture.

He has completed an internship with Facility Design and Development LTD in Scranton and will continue his required internship hours through employment in this field before sitting for national boards to become a registered architect.

The prospective groom is also the grandson of Betty Rybnikar of Lansford and Jean Wasilkowski of Walnutport.
