Americare is the endorsed home care company for the Pennsylvania American Legion. The money will be used to help cover costs for the upcoming 61st annual fishing derby, hosted by the American Legion and Germantown Grove Association, for Carbon County's special needs students. The event will be held in the Germantown section of Jim Thorpe on May 8 and 9, beginning at 9 a.m. Volunteers are needed to help the students.
