State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident that occurred at a residence in Carbon County.

Troopers said about 2:25 a.m. on Saturday Lou M. Strohl, 41, of 2615 Stagecoach Road West, reported that three Hispanic females drove into his driveway. The driver told Strohl that she was having problems with her vehicle. She then asked if she could use his phone to call for help.The victim went to get his house phone at which time the three drove off in an unknown direction.Strohl then discovered that his wallet was missing from a coffee table in the residence. The wallet contained various cards, including his debit card, and about $200 in cash.The suspect vehicle is a white, four-door model sport utility vehicle.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 610-377-4270.
