The 10th annual Lehighton community book swap will be held 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, at the Lehighton Area Middle School.

The event is sponsored by the Lehighton Area Education Association, Pennsylvnia State Education Association, and the National Education Association.Students can make book donations in their classroom for credit exchange at the event.Adults may make book donations ahead of time for credit exchange from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at the Middle School.Mixed in with the traded books will be $800 worth of new books purchased through monetary donations from the Lehighton area teachers.There will be a section of parent books.Any books remaining untraded will be free to anyone after 5:15 p.m. regardless of the number of book credits remaining.In the first nine years of the event, it has been estimated that more than 85,000 books have been traded at this event so far.For more information contact by cell at 610-428-6651, or home email
