Dear Editor,

Sorry I don't think this is fair! Really all they're trying to do is the rich get richer and the poor get poorer! It is not fair. I went to Lehighton High School on Third Street. What we had was from seventh to 12th in that school.

Why so many high ceilings? We had regular ceilings. You could hear the teacher or the pupil! Even our gym was neat; you went down steps to the gym floor. We never said anything about the schools then. Why now? There are not so many children in school now. All they want is more money and people who don't work will be tight.

It's not fair that the people who don't go there don't have their chances. Look at it. The schools are still standing. Don't knock them down for any reason. Sit back and see what you are doing. Bad or Good. I went to Lehighton High School. I graduated in 1963. That's over 50 years ago!

Sincerely,

Donna Lee Sheckler
