Lehigh Gap Nature Center is hosting its inaugural Nature in Photographs show at the nature center's Osprey House from March 22 to April 5. Amateur nature photographers from throughout the region have entered the competition with more than 120 photographs submitted for the show.

The LGNC panel of judges has selected the top 50 photographs in three categories, wildlife, scenic and macro, to be displayed in the show.

The public is welcome to view the show free of charge daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. March 22 through April 5. In addition, the Nature Center's Osprey House will be open to visitors for special evening hours Tuesday through Thursday, March 25-27 and April 1-3.

All are welcome to the photographers' reception to be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The reception and show are sponsored by Dan's Camera City and Lehigh Gap Nature Center.

In addition to selecting the photos to be included in the show, the judges have also selected the top three-place winners in each category.

During the show, visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite photo, with the winning photo receiving the People's Choice Award, the top honor in the show. The winner of the People's Choice award will receive a $300 gallery wrap canvas voucher from Dan's Camera City.
