These lovable pups are available for adoption at the Carbon County Animal Shelter, located at 63 Broad St., Nesquehoning, on top of the Broad Mountain off Route 93.

As of Thursday, there were eight dogs available for adoption, but the number fluctuates daily.In addition to adoptions, the shelter is always looking for help from the community.They are currently asking for donations of bleach, liquid laundry detergent, garbage bags, soft dog treats, dry dog food, paper towels, bath towels, dish soap, money, Lysol wipes and homes for all the dogs.The Carbon County Animal Shelter is operated by the county and through community support.If you are interested in adopting, contact the Carbon County Animal Shelter at 570-325-4828; visit the shelter between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays; or visit
