Mahoning Township Police were called to the scene at the Carbon Plaza Mall Friday afternoon as a car rolled the entire length of the mall lot across 443 onto Lowe's driveway. The car was originally parked at the upper end of the Carbon Plaza lot in front of Big Lots and drifted from its parking spot down a lane between numerous cars, over a curb and down the entrance of the Carbon Plaza Mall. When reaching Route 443 it was declared a miracle when the traffic light turned red for the opposing traffic giving the unattended car the green light as it crossed the busy intersection. The car continued entering the driveway of Lowe's striking a concrete island in the drive. The car veered to the left, coming to rest against a concrete curb. Police believe the car traveled well in excess of 1,000 feet without striking a thing in the parking lot or on busy Route 443.
