Holy Trinity happenings
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, will hold worship services at 9 a.m., Sunday. The service will include Holy Communion. A council meeting will be held at 7 p.m.
Bear Creek Camp, Day Camp, will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., July 28-Aug. 1 for ages 5-11.
Plans are under way for Pastor Paul's farewell/retirement celebration. The event will be held at noon Aug. 3 in the Sunshine Room. RSVP by July 27 by calling the church office at 610-826-2524 or send email to email@example.com.
This week's Sunday evening park concert will be by the Palmerton Band. Concerts are held in the bandstand of Palmerton Borough Park beginning at 7 p.m. This week's concert is sponsored by the bandstand committee.
Bring a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather, the committee reserves the right to cancel the concert.
On July 27, it will be "The Price is Rice."
The Palmerton Senior Center, 501 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, serves lunch daily at 11:30 a.m., Monday-Friday. For lunch reservations, call the day before by 9:30 a.m.
Activities include pinochle, penny games and bingo. On Friday there will be line dancing and on July 23, there will be Wheel of Fortune and crafts.

Carbon Model Railroad
The Carbon Model Railroad, 529 Ore. St., Bowmanstown, will be holding a Christmas in July open house. The main HO scale display is in various stages of completion and is an excellent learning tool. The club's portable HO and N scale displays will also be in operation on the second floor. Admission is free, donations are accepted. The society will be open from 1-5 p.m., July 19, 20, 26, and 27. It will also be open from 7-9 p.m. on July 24. The building is air-conditioned. For more information, call Garry at 610-826-6636.
The village of Palmerton, 71 Princeton Ave., Palmerton, will hold its annual Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 24. There will be rehabilitation services, home health care, medical equipment, veterans' benefit information, Department of Aging, and many more agencies will be offering information.
Free services and screenings will be provided on site.
