I am writing because I have failed to see balanced information included in the Times News or other Pencor media regarding the candidates for the 122nd District for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.I would like to know more about the challenger to the incumbent. When I have mentioned this to associates who have lived in the area a long time, I have been told that you favor the incumbent.I was astonished that such cronyism would be openly tolerated, but when I look at the coverage given thus far, unfortunately, your extremely limited coverage about Patti Borger would support that claim. Bias by omission is still bias.In my opinion, Americans with privilege and power (such as those in media) have responsibilities as well as rights. It is not your privilege to limit the information given to the people of the 122nd District. It is your responsibility to inform and to allow the citizens of the 122nd District to decide for themselves who they support.Please note that I did not say whether I do or do not agree with your political stance, but I do disagree with any media outlet that attempts to exert political influence by omission. Further, attempting to obstruct the democratic process through obfuscation is wrong and unprofessional. The people of the 122nd District deserve better.Samantha PostAlbrightsville
