The Northern Lehigh grapplers picked up a win over Allen on Thursday, while the Marian girls basketball squad kept up their winning ways, defeating Schuylkill Haven in league play.

The Tamaqua girls swim team also picked up a league win over Pottsville. In their meet against the Crimson Tide, Tamaqua's Miranda Amey scored her 1,000th career point for the Raiders.

The Tamaqua girls were victorious, 108-75, as Miranda Amey scored her 1,000th point as a high school swimmer. Amey and Joann Butkus both had a pair of individual firsts for the Raiders.

The boys however came up short, 112-74. Matt Stanek, Gage Whalen, and Jake Kropp picked up individual wins for the Raiders.
