Twenty area residents were among 102 defendants in criminal cases arraigned before District Attorney Christine Holman on Monday at the Schuylkill County courthouse:

Ashley Blum, 22, of 111 Gay St., Tamaqua, formerly of Lansford, charged by Rush Township Patrolman Bradley Hess, with theft of a laptop computer from Rent-A-Store, Plaza Drive, Hometown, by failing to make payments.

Nathaniel Davis, 64, of 222 E. Broad St., Apt. 507, Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Joseph Krebs, with driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to drive at a safe speed.

Jesse M. Becker, 27, of 415 N. Railroad St., Apt. 1, Tamaqua, charged by Rush Sgt. Duane Frederick, with criminal conspiracy, theft of a coffee maker from Walmart Store, Hometown, receiving stolen property, and driving while his license was suspended.

Patrick B. McCarthy, 30, of 722 S. Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, charged by Kline Township Chief John Petrilla, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ashley M. Sist, 28, of 27 N. Manning St., McAdoo, charged by McAdoo Chief Jeffrey Wainwright, with theft of $250 in cash belonging to Robert Molaski, McAdoo, receiving stolen property, and disorderly conduct.

John Smith, 24, of 216 Owl Creek Road, Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Joseph Krebs, with retail theft of five packs of hot dogs from Boyer's Food Market, and public drunkenness.

Samantha Lynn Richardson, 23, of 236 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods, with access device fraud by using credit card belonging to Eleanor Seladones, 106 Pitt St., her mother; theft, and receiving stolen property through 19 unauthorized transactions totaling $689.75.

Brian Scott Fritz, 37, of 335 Hazle St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Karl Harig, with possessing prohibitive weapons, namely brass knuckles and a switch blade, and public drunkenness.

Joshua Robert McArdle, 22, of 426 Arlington St., Tamaqua, charged by Trooper Thomas Powell with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia when confronted on Rose Street, Tamaqua, after fleeing from his vehicle. He is also wanted by police in Bern Township, Berks County, for allegedly striking a police officer with his vehicle who was investigating drug activities.

Jodey Allen Mertz, 46, of 165 Fourth St., Coaldale, charged by Coaldale Criminal Investigator Todd Weiss, with simple assault and harassment of Morgan Kevenaar.

William A. Zabrosky III, 31, of 126 Bayview Drive, McAdoo, charged by Kline Chief John Petrilla, with manufacture of a controlled substance by growing marijuana plants behind his residence, and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Daniel James Brogan, 41, of 40 N. Cleveland St., McAdoo, charged by McAdoo Patrolman Steven Homanko, with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Alex Jones, 22, of 730 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, charged by Rush Patrolman Adam Sinton, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Tedd Richard Fredericks, 41, of 317 Washington St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Cpl. Dwayne Hacker, with possession of a small amount of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Jessica Fern Stilitono, 31, of 242 W. Ridge St., Coaldale, charged by McAdoo Patrolman Steven Homanko, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Titus M. Steigerwalt, 47, of 120 Walnut St., Andreas, West Penn Township, charged by West Penn Sgt. Melissa M. Boyer, with theft vehicle belonging to Christopher Wablowsky, his neighbor.

Raymond Mamuzich Jr., 50, of 17 S. Tamaqua Drive, Tamaqua R.D., charged by West Penn Chief Brian J. Johnson, with DUI of alcohol, and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic.

Jeffrey James Hartz, 19, of 427 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, charged by West Penn Patrolman Dean E. Deem, with DUI of alcohol, and DUI as a minor.

Lynne Britton, 47, of 2 Grier Avenue, Barnesville, charged by Rush Patrolman Bradley Hess, with altering or forging inspection certificate, and driving while license was suspended.

Timothy H. O'Brien, 24, of 272 Third St., Coaldale, charged by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods, with forgery of checks reported stolen which belonged to Paul T. Weirich Jr., criminal attempt to commit theft by deception, and receiving stolen property.
