Vehicles are towed after rear-end mishap

Two vehicles were damaged and required towing from the scene of a rear-end collision at 4:28 p.m. Dec. 11 at the intersection of Route 209 and Harrity Road in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said a vehicle driven by Carol R. Serfass, 73, of Sciota, traveling northbound on Route 209, failed to stop for a vehicle in front of it and crashed into the back end of that vehicle, which was operated by Patricia A. Cambria, 50, of Kunkletown.No one was injured in the mishap.
