A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for violating the state liquor code.

2008 Riverwalck Saloon LLC, 101 Centre St., Parryville, was cited for using, or permitting to be used on the inside and/or outside of the licensed premises, a loudspeaker or similar device with the sound able to be heard beyond the licensee's property line.This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses, and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
