Rep. Julie Harhart (R-Lehigh/Northampton) is hosting a monthly veterans outreach at her Northampton district office from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday, March 6.

The office is located at 2030 Center St. in Northampton.A veterans outreach specialist from the American Legion in Wilkes-Barre will be available to meet with local veterans and assist them with issues they may have accessing benefits and services from the U.S. Veterans Affairs."This is a great time to stop by and talk face to face with someone who can help you navigate the often complex VA system," said Harhart."We have received great feedback on this service and I encourage any area veterans with questions pertaining to VA benefits and services to schedule an appointment."The veterans outreach specialist is available the first Thursday of each month on alternating months at Harhart's Northampton or Slatington district offices.April's visit will be held in Slatington.Appointments are necessary.
