Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday hired four people for jobs at the county nursing home, Rest Haven.

They are Amy Slotterback of Pottsville, Rebecca Wilson of Auburn, and Lisa Marie Poper of Fleetwood, all as graduated practical nurses at $16.29 an hour; and Joseph Benulis of Orwigsburg as maintenance manager at $32,262 annually.Commissioners also approved the termination of 911 center telecommunications trainee D. Faye Noll of Gordon. She earned $12.84 an hour.In other personnel matters, Katherine Schuck of Pottsville resigned from her $11.42 an hour job as clerk in the coroner's office, and Matthew Stine of Orwigsburg resigned from his $21.66 an hour job as enforcement officer 1 in the domestic relations office.Gail Horan of Girardville was appointed as an unpaid intern at the county prison, and Michael D. Smith of Barnesville was hired as a probation aide in Adult Probation at $13.35 an hour.
