Rep. Rosemary Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) will host two financial literacy seminars in March aimed at educating high school juniors and seniors about everyday finances to prepare them for independent living.

Brown encourages parents who have students of that age to consider signing their teen up for one of the seminars. Two identical seminars will be held.

The first is from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 16, and the second is from, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, March 17. Both seminars will be held at the East Stroudsburg University Innovation Center, 314 Independence Road, Route 447, on the corner of East Brown Street, in East Stroudsburg.

The seminars will be presented by the National Endowment for Financial Education.

Area teachers from Monroe and Pike County school districts and Colonial Intermediate Unit will facilitate the seminars.

Seating is limited.
