Believe it or not, the National Weather Service is calling for you guessed it more snow.
Snow is expected to move into our area sometime after 1 a.m. with the possibility of another 1 to 2 inches.
Temperatures overnight are expected to be around 20 degrees. An additional inch may fall before 1 p.m.
With more snow on the way, there is a chance that area students may be home yet again.
So what can you do to while away another snow day?
Here are a few suggestions culled from our Facebook readers:
Ÿ Kara Krajnak: My biggest one is READ! When we are missing so much school due to the snow the kids need to keep their brains sharp and practice their reading skills! I think going outside to play is another great one and helping out shoveling the snow. Baking and crafts are also fun.
Ÿ Franklin Klock: Sledding.
Ÿ Donna Britland Graham: Painting snow with watercolors.
Ÿ Shaun Strohl: Shovel for the elderly
All of this snow and cold is likely wearing a little thin on all but the most dedicated skiers and snowboarders, but take heart. The National Weather Service is calling for temperatures to rise to nearly 45 by Friday.
Keep your fingers crossed.
