to meetPalmerton Lions will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 at Fireline Hotel.Community members are reminded to donate used eyeglasses at Houser Newman Eye Associates, Walters Optometric, First Northern Bank & Trust, Citizens Bank, all located on Delaware Avenue in Palmerton and/or the Palmerton Area High School located on Fire Line Road or by giving them to any Lions member.Eyeglasses are recycled for those in other countries who are unable to afford corrective lenses. In addition, anyone needing financial assistance with eyeglasses can contact committee chairperson, Jim Sheckler at 610-826-4533.
