Lehighton holiday lighting contest winners named

Lehighton's holiday lighting contest winners have been named.

Judging was recently held for the borough's holiday lighting contest, and the winners were announced by Lehighton Borough officials. The contest is sponsored by the borough.Borough Manager Nicole Beckett said the top residents will receive a $25 discount on their utility bill, while the top commercial winners will receive a $100 discount on their utility bill.Next year, Beckett said the categories to be judged will be nostalgic, whimsical, judge's choice, best use of lights and most untraditional.The 2014 Christmas light winners are:Residential• Steve Christman, 628 Coal St., Best Use of Lights• Kristina Kemmerer, 434 S.
