Kingston man faces Nesquehoning drug charges

A Luzerne county man faces drug charges in Nesquehoning.

Police on Nov. 24 charged Christopher Peter Fischi Jr., 47, of Kingston, with two felony charges of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, and Intent to possess a controlled substance by a person not registered.

He was arraigned before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek, Lansford.

Fischi's bail was reduced Wednesday from $20,000 cash to unsecured.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, here's what happened:

Agent Charles Horvath of the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General's Bureau of Narcotics Investigation met on Nov. 24 with a confidential informant about purchasing 55 15 mg. Oxycodone pills from Fischi for $600.

Horvath was acting in an undercover capacity, and had the money.

Horvath and the informant met Fischi at 180 Market St. in Nesquehoning. Fischi pulled into the parking lot in a white GMC Jimmy. He had Horvath and the informant follow him to East Locust Street, where Horvath gave him the $600. They then followed Fischi to a modular home on East Columbus Avenue and Padua Street, where Fischi met with a white female.

Fischi left the female, and Horvath and the informant followed him to 2 Willow Lane.

Fischi got out of his vehicle and handed Horvath a cigarette cellophane containing 51 round, green tablets, each marked A214.

Fischi drove away, but was stopped in the 200 block of West Catawissa Street by Carbon County Drug Task Force officers. he was taken into custody without incident.

A search of the vehicle found an additional 24 round, green tablets, each marked A214.

Fischi was taken to the Nesquehoning police station and given his Miranda rights by Chief Sean Smith. Fischi waived his rights in writing and admitted to the sale.
