Theft incidents are being investigated

State police at Lehighton reported investigating numerous theft incidents.

An AT&T shelter at a cell tower located in the 100 block of Firehouse Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, was entered and multiple copper bus bars and electrical wire taken. The incident was reported at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 17.A 55-year-old male from the 100 block of Karaman Lane in Kunkletown, Polk Township, reported someone stole about 550 gallons of fuel oil and 48.7 gallons of propane from his residence. The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 10 and Nov. 22.Someone removed cash from a home in the 600 block of Mill St. in Bowmanstown. The incident occurred sometime between Sept. 25 and Nov. 25.Three gold rings were removed from a bedroom in the 3000 block of Valley View Drive in Kunkletown, Eldred Township. Troopers noted a 27-year-old female is a suspect in the theft.A torch was removed from an unsecured garage in the 1200 block of Deer Lane in Lehighton, Towamensing Township. The theft occurred sometime between Nov. 28-29.A 60-year-old male from the 500 block of Weir Mountain Road, Polk Township, reported someone removed a Bryant air conditioner from the south side of his residence. The incident occurred sometime between Dec. 10 and 12.A 45-year-old male from the 900 block of Meixsell Valley Road, in Ross Township, reported about 20 pounds of copper piping was removed from the rear porch area of his home. The theft occurred sometime between 4 and 9 p.m. on Dec. 11.A 70-year-old male from the 1800 block of Kunkletown Road, Kunkletown, Ross Township, reported someone removed a tree from his property about 2 p.m. on Dec. 13. The suspect was driving a black Dodge Dakota.A 40-year-old female from the 100 block of Golf View Drive in Polk Township reported jewelry and credit cards were taken from her residence. She reported the incident on Dec. 7 at noon and told troopers she suspected a friend, a 24-year-old male from Bethlehem.Troopers said someone removed steel feet for bridge towers from wooden boxes placed at the parking lot near the intersection of Lime and Franklin streets in Weissport. The incident occurred sometime between Dec. 8-10. The items are the property of J.D. Eckman Inc.A 45-year-old woman of Lehighton reported someone removed her iPhone 5 from the table she was sitting at in the Riverwalck Saloon, in Parryville, on Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m.Hawk Trucking, reported someone removed a commercial truck and trailer from the property at 655 Silver Springs Boulevard, in Eldred Township, after loading it with the victim's excavator. The incident was reported on Nov. 12. The police report indicates an arrest was made but did not report the suspect's name.A resident in the 500 block of Dotters Corner Road, Polk Township, reported his Saturn sedan, white with no registration and a loud exhaust system, was stolen from his property sometime between 7:15 and 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 29.Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
