A Pottsville man escaped injury Thursday when he crashed on Route 61 in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

Joshua R. Cappel was driving a 2004 Saturn north, about two-tenths of a mile north of Port Clinton Borough, when he lost control of the car on a curve. The car crossed over the right lane to the northbound shoulder, struck an embankment, and rolled over.Police noted the road was wet but clear of debris. Cappel was charged with failing to drive at a safe speed.
