Palmerton Subway will hold an under new ownership sales event at 625 Delaware Ave. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

A ribbon cutting will be held at 12:15 p.m., at which time visitors can meet the new owners, as well as borough Mayor Chris Olivia.Subman will be on hand to greet the kids, and there will be a performance by Gwen Dean and her puppet friends at 1, 3 and 5 p.m.There will also be a prize wheel, balloons and giveaways all day.A special offer is buy one, get one free, any 6-inch or footlong sub.
