The Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel items:

• Appointed Michelle McCormick as temporary replacement, first-grade teacher, replacing an employee on family medical leave, at the substitute teacher rate, $45,680, with a termination date on or about March 30, 2015.• Accepted the resignation of Diana Beltran as office aide at Slatington Elementary School.• Approved David Schmall as a game worker for the 2014-15 school year. Game workers consist of ticket sellers and takers, game announcers, scoreboard operators, timers, field judges and scorekeepers. The rate of pay is consistent with the rates approved on the 2014-15 Supplementary Personnel Salary Schedule.• Approved, Melissa Olewine, Sandy Schaffer, Heidi Taylor and Sandy Young as refreshment stand volunteers for the 2014-15 school year.• Approved a request for Rhonda Frantz to attend the 60th Annual PASBO Conference March 11-13, 2015, at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, with the cost of registration $299; lodging, $157; and meals $64, for a total cost of about $520, to be paid from funding from the business office budget.• Approved a request for Sherri Molitoris to attend the 60th Annual PASBO Conference March 11-13, 2015, at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, with the cost of registration $299; lodging, $157; travel, $108; and meals, $64; for a total cost of about $628, to be paid from funding from the business office budget.
