Police throughout Carbon County are looking for a 31-year-old male, a suspect in a case involving an assault on a 5-year-old boy and the theft of a gun and bullets. Friday afternoon police were called to a home at 138 Mauch Chunk Road in the Packerton section of Mahoning Township where the assault and theft occurred. The mother of the child reported the child suffered a fracture of the eye socket, his ear drum was damaged and his hair was pulled out by blotches by his assailant, her brother.
