Victor Pituch, a member of the Nesquehoning Class of 1947, left, presents Tim Sverduk, president of the Nesquehoning Historical Society, with a check for $976.43 from the Nesquehoning Class of 1947. The money was from the class's former flower fund that had been closed following the death of classmate Joyce Bond. The class felt the money should be given to an area organization that could put it to good use.
