On June 12, McAdoo resident Katrina Bryant, 23, told McAdoo Police she had been assaulted, claiming she was punched by her then boyfriend. The man was arrested and charged under the state's domestic violence laws.

The case went to court and Bryant admitted she lied to police about the assault.She was then charged with two counts of filing false reports.
