A traffic stop in McAdoo on Aug. 4 resulted in citations for an 18-year-old West Hazleton man.

Carmen Beltrami was stopped at 3:22 a.m. for driving a vehicle with a cracked driver's side taillight. The officer noted an odor of alcohol and observed several signs of possible intoxication while speaking with Beltrami.The driver was given, and failed, field sobriety tests and was then transported to a hospital for blood tests. Results of those tests show a blood-alcohol content of 0.072 percent.Beltrami was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, underage drinking and two traffic offenses.
