Northern Lehigh School District opens for students on Monday.
Cafeteria prices for the year have been set at:
Elementary breakfast, $1.25; lunch, $2.35; reduced breakfast, $0.30; reduced lunch, $0.40.
Secondary breakfast, $1.75; lunch, $2.60; reduced lunch and breakfast the same
All lunches meet the dietary guidelines for elementary and secondary students. Milk, vegetable, fruit or 100 percent juices are offered at every meal. Cereal, milk and 100 percent fruit juice is available every morning.
Northern Lehigh has 128 teachers employed. The district currently has 1,665 students enrolled, with 354 at Peters Elementary (K-2), 499 at Slatington Elementary (3-6), 267 at the middle school (7-8), and 545 at the high school (9-12).
As of end of the 2013-2014 school year, the district had 82 cyberschool students, including charter schools, cyber charter schools and Bulldog Academy, at a cost of $721,000.
