A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a crash in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said the crash occurred at 7:54 a.m. June 27 at the intersection of Route 309 and Hunters Hill Road in Lynn Township.Troopers said Joseph A. Walker, 21, of New Tripoli, who was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Prizm, proceeded into the intersection from Hunters Hill Road in front of a 2009 Nissan Murano driven by Louann M. McGough, 36, of Andreas, who was northbound on 309.The Murano struck the driver's side of the Prizm, causing both vehicles to cross over 309 and come to final rest on the shoulder.Walker was injured and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, while McGough was not injured. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.Troopers said Walker was cited for a stop sign and yield sign violation.
