Be prepared for some wet weather Tuesday night.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 90 percent chance of heavy rain and localized flooding for Carbon, Monroe, Schuylkill, Lehigh and Northampton counties into Wednesday morning. Up to one inch of rain is possible overnight in some areas.

Showers are expected to move into the region early tomorrow, with thunderstorms possible ater 2 p.m. as a cold front pushes through.

Temperatures will also be noticably cooler this week.

Highs will top out in the mid-70s through Saturday.
