Police and fire crews responded to the scene of a three-vehicle crash in Lansford Thursday evening. The driver of the first vehicle was traveling west on the 300 block of West Abbott Street when it struck the yellow parked car, causing it to come to rest on top of the red vehicle. According to officer Jason Helmer, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. All three vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
