Troopers probe crashes

State police at Lehighton reported on the following crashes probed by troopers.

A one-vehicle crash was reported at 10:58 p.m. on Saturday along Route 209 (Interchange Road), in Towamensing Township.Troopers said Eric J. Miller, 42, of Brodheadsville, was driving a 2003 Subaru Forester southbound when the vehicle left the road and went onto the west shoulder. It then struck branches of a tree, continued through the branches, then struck a utility pole. After striking the pole, the vehicle turned clockwise and came to rest.Miller sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Palmerton hospital by the Palmerton ambulance.He was cited for the crash, troopers said.A three-vehicle, rear-end crash occurred Sunday along Route 115 at Hemlock Lane, in Ross Township, Monroe County. The time of the crash was not listed.Troopers said Dennis Grube, 20, of Easton, Matthew Wolfe, 37, of Pen Argyl, and Pauline Stout, 67, of Wind Gap, were traveling one behind the other.Troopers said the front of Grube's Honda Accord hit the rear of Wolfe's Toyota Corolla, pushing it into the rear of Stout's Chevrolet Sonic.No one was injured. Troopers said Grube caused the crash.
