Fairway Subaru helps make girl's Disney wish come true

Last month, Fairway Subaru presented $5,000 from its "Share the Love" campaign to Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia. With the help of Subaru's generous donation, local wish kid Lucy of West Hazleton traveled to the most magical place on earth, the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.

While in Orlando, Lucy and her family stayed at Give Kids the World Village, a fairy-tale resort for kids just like Lucy that caters specifically to the needs of wish children and their families. This beautiful and spacious oasis is located right outside of the Disney complex and also provided Lucy with two of her favorite things: unlimited ice cream and a life-sized game of Candyland.Throughout her stay, Lucy had the chance to visit a variety of Disney theme parks, including Magic Kingdom, SeaWorld and Universal Studios. Lucy's mother said that her favorite part of her wish trip was meeting all of the characters, especially the princesses.Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia is a nonprofit organization that grants wishes to children aged 2 1/2 to 18 with life-threatening medical conditions.
