Geisinger Hospital's Children's Miracle Network will be hosting "Angling for Miracles," a family fun fishing day, on April 24 at Sweet Arrow Lake in Pine Grove. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include fishing lessons, nature walks, a scavenger hunt, face painting, fish themed games and more. Refreshments will be available. All are welcome.

The Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger provides funds for pediatric services, improved facilities, upgraded equipment and provides programs/services to keep local children healthy. Donations have funded the purchase of lifesaving equipment, added educational programs and specialized services to Janet Weis Children's Hospital, as well as outreach offices and the Geisinger Medical Groups throughout the region.Volunteers are needed to help with fishing lessons, face painting as well as cooking and selling food items.
