A workshop about current lung cancer treatments will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at the Mahoning Valley Country Club.

Free of charge to people affected by cancer, the workshop will also address strategies for managing symptoms and side effects. It is offered by the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley with St. Luke's University Health Network.Thoracic surgeon William Burfeind will be the speaker.The workshop is sponsored through grants from AstraZenica, Eli Lilly & Company, and GlaxoSmithKline Oncology.A light dinner will be provided.
