Tamaqua Area High School's annual Homecoming festivities will be celebrated during tomorrow night's football game between the Tamaqua Blue Raiders and Annville-Cleona.
Annville-Cleona has notified Tamaqua that its band will not be traveling to the game, which means a change in the pre-game and half-time festivities.
The Raider Marching Band will play its entire show prior to the football contest, rather than an abbreviated version at halftime. Homecoming activities, including crowning of the king and queen, will still take place at halftime.
The League of Literaries will host a free movie night, Sept. 28, at the Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St. The feature film will be "Julie and Julia," which will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend.
