Several driving under the influence (DUI) arrests were reported by state police at Lehighton.
On Sept. 12 about 2:05 a.m. troopers stopped Jeanette McHugh, 45, of Kunkletown, along Berger Hollow Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for traffic violations. She was found to be under the influence and was taken to the county DUI center for a blood test. Charges will be filed.
On Sept. 16 about 8:38 p.m. Eric Ramos, 34, of Lehighton, was stopped for a traffic violation along SR209 in Lehighton. He was found to be under the influence, troopers said.
On Sept. 17 about 1:48 a.m. Lisa Mara Szerlip, 53, of Lehighton, arrived at the barracks along Interchange Road (SR209), in Towamensing Township, intoxicated. She was then arrested, troopers said, with charges pending.
Also on Sept. 17 about 9:31 p.m. Douglas Klemm, 26, of Effort, was stopped for several motor vehicle code violations along Old Route 115, at SR209, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.
At 10:06 p.m. on Sept. 17 Amanda D. Parisi, 26, of Lehighton, was stopped at Third and Coal sts., in Lehighton. She was found to be under the influence. The DUI charge is pending blood test results, troopers said.
Troopers also noted that Parisi had two passengers with her who were wanted and warrants issued out of Carbon County. Troopers did not name the two.
On Sept. 18 about 11:25 p.m. troopers stopped Jarred Matthew Dillman, 23, of Palmerton, along SR209, north of Weir Lake Road, in Chestnuthill Township, for several vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.
On Sunday, Sept. 22, about 10:54 a.m. Gary Frederick Gagliardi, 30, of Lancaster, was stopped at state routes 33 and 209, in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest. He was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test.
On Sunday at 6:05 p.m. troopers stopped Timothy Alan Simmons, 58, of Lansdale, along Maury Road, near the area of Long Run Road, in Franklin Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest. Charges will be filed, troopers said.
Also on Sunday, at 10:55 p.m., Jeffrey Lynn Gildner, 49, of Palmerton, was stopped along Fireline Road, near Golf Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influcne and placed under arrest. Charges will be filed, troopers added.
