A group of men with local ties enjoyed their annual retreat this past weekend at Saint Joseph's-In-The-Hills Retreat House in Malvern. Owned and operated by Catholic laity since 1912, Malvern Retreat House serves the spiritual needs of lay men and women of all ages - as well as clergy and religious of many denominations - through the retreat experience. Attending were, front l-r, Anthony Cammaroto of Jim Thorpe, recognized as a 40-year retreatant; John Davis, Francis Heery, and Patrick Gallagher, all of Lehighton; back l-r, Christopher Heery of Lehighton, recognized as a 30-year retreatant; Raymond Squires of Lehighton, Paul Schlecht of Lehighton, Joseph Sheridan of Watkins Glen, N.Y., and Benn Smith of Whitehall.
