Two weeks in the books and there is a logjam at the top of our Grid Picks board as you can see above. And needless to say, this corner is lucky enough to be one of those guys tied for first.

Picking 11 out of 15 right, propelled myself into a tie with Rod Heckman and Brad Hurley so there is a good feeling in the air as I get the ol' crystal ball all set for another big week. This looks like it could be one of the most competitive races in years.

So here goes:

NORTH SCHUYLKILL AT JIM THORPE - The Olympians ran into a tough Blue Mountain squad last week, but have had a solid ground game in both of their games. Word out of the Spartans camp is they are banged up a bit so the could get a battle from Mark Rosenberger's squad...North Schuylkill, 25-18.

KUTZTOWN AT PANTHER VALLEY - Despite two losses to start the season, the Panthers should get a "W" here...Panther Valley, 30-13.

SHENANDOAH VALLEY AT TAMAQUA - It's "Hall of Fame" Night up on Stadium Hill and look for the Tamaqua "air" game to put on a show....Tamaqua, 28-6.

MARIAN AT MAHANOY AREA - Colts are off to an 0-2 start and that's almost unheard of. It's a big rivalry game for the Golden Bears and the best defense on the field tonight will win...Marian, 14-13.

WILSON AT NORTHWESTERN - Tigers left everything out of the bag last week in a big win over Salisbury. The beat goes on this week against a young Wilson team...Northwestern, 27-13.

NORTHERN LEHIGH AT SAUCON VALLEY - The Bulldogs face their third toughest Colonial League foe in a row and are still looking for consistency. If the Panthers big running back is still out of the lineup, they can win this one. If he's back, it'll be a battle...Saucon Valley, 20-13.

PALMERTON AT SALISBURY - Bombers got a taste of something real good last week in a big win over Wilson. This week, we'll see how much they liked it...Palmerton, 27-6.

LEHIGHTON AT POCONO MOUNTAIN EAST - Actually flipped the coin here. The Indians battled Stroudsburg tough coming off that big win in the opening week over Marian. Cardinals have an excellent coaching staff that has them starting 2-0...Lehighton, 14-13.

PLEASANT VALLEY AT POCONO MOUNTAIN WEST - An unusual Saturday night game since East and West play on the same field. Bears took a big "Leap" last week. Look for it again...Pleasant Valley 35-14.

EAST STROUDSBURG SOUTH AT STROUDSBURG - It's not Turkey Day, but this is the prelude. Two solid MVC squads that will leave it all out on the field...Stroudsburg, 21-19.

CATASAUQUA AT PALISADES - The Pirates have been impressive, but so was Southern Lehigh before it ran into the Roughies last week...Catasauqua, 42-14.

NOTRE DAME AT PEN ARGYL - The Crusaders 2-0 run comes to an end Saturday afternoon in the Slate Belt...Pen Argyl, 21-13.

POTTSVILLE AT BLUE MOUNTAIN - A good old time rivalry that still has a meaning for these two teams...Blue Mountain, 14-7.

LIBERTY AT NAZARETH - Tough to pick against the Blue Eagles when they play at home...Nazareth, 27-20.

WHITEHALL AT FREEDOM - This should be a dandy, but Brian Gilbert knows how to get his Zephyrs to play tough defense...Whitehall, 28-13.
