SH police issueincident report

Summit Hill Police Chief Joseph Fittos issued the following police report:

At 11 a.m., Sunday, Sept 8, police received a call from Hiles Car Wash. Police said that five customer vehicles and three company vehicles were damaged, plus one bay of the car wash was damaged. Police are investigating.Hiles Car Wash has issued a $5,000 cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of the individual responsible. Fittos said that someone used a knife to damage the paint and puncture tires.Police reported that Mary Ann Williams, 61, of 103 Amidon St., Summit Hill, was charged with disorderly conduct, persistent disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, plus pedestrian under the influence of alcohol, and resisting arrest. Police said Williams was walking on SR902 White Bear Hill and staggering on the roadway.Police were called to the Mauch Chunk Campground for two people involved in an altercation. Police charged Joseph Kosalko Jr., 33, of 325 W. White St., and Anthony Mongi, 58, of 45 W. Vernon St., both of Summit Hill with harassment. Police charged two individuals who were dumping illegally.Police charged Wayne Vasiliou, 26, of 420 N. Third St., Lehighton; and Matthew Vernon, 27, of 84 Behrens Road, Jim Thorpe. Both were charged with scattering rubbish and criminal trespass.
