An older male driver of a black Volkswagen Passat wagon allegedly walked away after his vehicle rolled out of the Hunter/West Broad Street parking lot and backed into the side of a downtown building occupied by Daniel Reigel Plumbing and Heating around 8:15 this morning. A nearby witness said that after the wagon impacted the business, the driver parked the wagon back into the parking spot and walked away to another nearby business. Damage to the building was mostly cosmetic. Corporal Henry Woods is the investigating officer. Since the driver was not at the vehicle when police responded, no more information was available from police as of press time. It is also not known if any charges will be filed.
