Visitors to the No. 9 Mine and Museum in Lansford over the weekend, were treated to numerous of attractions during their Old Fashioned Miners Picnic. Some of which included a Living History Civil War Encampment, crayon drawing by Renee Novak, balloons from Buster the Clown, ethnic foods, mine tours outdoor display and so on. No. 9 Mine and Museum volunteer John Shucavage, Tamaqua, opens mine cars for visitors during the event.
