Jenna Gerber, daughter of Rob and Lisa Gerber of Tamaqua, and Jason Derr, son of Paul Derr of Weatherly and Rhonda Zawaski of Andreas, were united in marriage on May 4, 2013 in an outdoor ceremony at Willow Tree Grove in Orefield. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. John Macky Pittman. The Hall sisters of Macungie served as harpists.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister Calyn Brewer of Omaha, Neb., as matron of honor. Her sister Taylor Gerber, of Tamaqua, was the maid of honor.Bridesmaids included Allie Carico of Washington, D.C., and Ashley Witford of Tamaqua.The bridegroom chose Jimmy Barron of Tamaqua to be his best man. Ushers included his brothers, Luke and Elijah Derr, of Weatherly; Jeremy Kunkel, Tamaqua; Ryan Nesgoda, Tamaqua; Josh Engleman, Wilmington, N.C.; Tom Toth, Fogelsville; and Chris Rhubright, Hometown.Following the ceremony the couple greeted friends and family at a reception at Willow Tree Grove.They honeymooned in Boston, Mass. A trip to the Bahamas is also planned for next spring.The new Mrs. Derr earned a bachelor of science degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. She is employed by Exigo Health Services as a consultant.Mr. Derr is an electronic engineer graduate of Lincoln Tech. He is employed by Air Products in Trexlertown.They now reside in New Tripoli.
