Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Bowmanstown, will host a rape prevention/defense workshop from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8; and Friday, Nov. 15. The workshops are open to anyone 13 years or older. Anyone 13 to 17 years old must have written permission from parents/guardians. Parents of young minors should be present during workshops.

The sessions, led by Paul Lanchantin, who has studied Kung Fu under many masters.Participants will learn what will and will not work against a predator.
